They are also some of the longest-living creatures on the planet. In contrast, the average human breathes at a rate of approximately 12-18 times per minute. This is often faster due to the stresses of modern life and over-breathing habits. Science suggests that breathing slower can contribute to longevity, and Buteyko Breathwork is designed to help you do just that. The Buteyko Method can teach you how to breathe slower, lighter, and through the nose, mimicking the natural breathing patterns of long-lived species, such as those mentioned above. I offer personalized guided meditation sessions designed to help you find clarity, calm, and balance in your daily life. If you’ve ever felt like your mind is constantly racing or that your life is running you, then a guided meditation can be the way to regain balance and control of your life. Whether you prefer a calming visualization, a body scan, or a breathwork-centered practice, I will design each session to fit your specific needs to help reduce feelings of anxiety, improve your focus, or enhance your overall emotional well-being.
Sessions are available both online and in person and typically last 30 to 60 minutes. I also provide simple guided practices for quick resets throughout the day.
